in a case involving art theft from International Museums, Lucy devises a scheme to get him back.

Everything falls to pieces when they learn the thieves they're dealing with are much more than they appear. Editorial Reviews

Review

"This is a fantastic adventure novel that has just the right amount of action, adventure, romance, and danger thrown in to make it incredible. As a student of gemology, I am familiar with the stories of the Hope Diamond and its legend and curses. The stories about the Hope Diamond that are included in this novel speak of the accuracy the author dedicated to research. The characters and settings are lively and lushly described, and easily visible in the mind's eye. Romance and adventure readers will love this exciting novel as much as I did." - Top Review Pick, 4.5 Stars, - Night Owl Reviews

5.0 out of 5 stars A Recipe for Great Writing ! April 27, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
What a gem this is. Add just the right amount of action and adventure then mix it in with cloak and dagger intrigue and sprinkle it with a sister's concern for her missing brother. Now stir it hard with the return of a past love interest in a fellow agent and you have a thriller just waiting to bubble over with high speed entertainment. I really love the strong characterization of the female hero right down to her sexy high heeled boots. Serena paints this story with great detail that had to be thoroughly researched. And there is just enough tongue in cheek humor to keep you off balance. I highly recommend this for the avid reader of romance and intrigue. The chemistry really works with this story. Five stars all the way !

5.0 out of 5 stars Exciting and sexy! April 22, 2013

Dark Diamonds is full of intrigue and non-stop excitement. The author paints a clear picture of the hero and heroine's reluctant attraction for each other. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read her next book in the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Adventure, suspense and romance at its best April 16, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
Special Agent Lucy Montgomery is concerned about her twin brother Chase, who had been missing for some time, work for F.I.U.W. (Force Intelligence of the United World). A fellow Agent, Kevin Garrett had been working with Chase when he disappeared.

Killroy, their boss, had suspected that there was a forbidden attraction between Lucy and Kevin, but from all indications, Lucy doesn't believe it since Kevin is cold to her and she thinks of him as the Ice King. Kevin and Lucy are determined to find Chase, hoping that he will still be alive. Killroy formed a five-man team to find Chase. Their plan backfires a bit because Connor, part of the ring of criminals involved in museum thefts, has an inside man feeding him the F.I.U.W. plans to plant a tracking device in his cane. The theft of the Hope Diamond goes as planned, but Lucy is not aware that Connor knows she's an agent.

The attraction between Lucy and Kevin grows, but neither one will admit it to the other. Without giving away the plot, there is adventure, excitement, surprising turn of events and romance, all very nicely done. I could not put it aside until I finished it. I had already read CRYSTAL CLEAR involving some of the same characters, and it felt like I was getting reacquainted with old friends. If you like excitement, you'll love this fast paced story.
