A fascinating read for anyone excited by mythology,
By Midwest Book Review (Oregon, WI USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dark Fairies (Paperback)
Tinkerbell is not the iconic fairy of myth. "Dark Fairies" looks into the history of fairies, and their roots as evil tricksters who were out to deceive and bring people to their doom, and to be feared. Looking at their roots in folklore and fairy tales, Dr. Bob Curran discusses how they developed and how they spun into the family friendly fairy of today. "Dark Fairies" is a fascinating read for anyone excited by mythology.

It's an interesting book, if you're into this kind of thing. I wouldn't begin to know if this kind of thing is credible but it is at least a good starting point for anyone looking for this kind of information.
