Dark Flame is the best installment in this series yet, ending in a very shocking way that leaves high promise for the next book. The readers' appetite will be whetted for more, the constant addictive craving Noel seems to infuse in every book continuing to guarantee her strong readership. Noel includes plenty of surprising twists, unexpected tie ins and histories, and never lets the reader know what else she has planned...leaving only a burning need for more.” ―AGoodAddiction.com

“I have never been more unexpectedly surprised by an author. Noel knows exactly how to keep me enthralled in her books...Shadowland is purely mesmerizing. A book with a little bit of everything in it- romance, suspense, friendship, and immortality-all meshed together to create a mind-blowing combination.” ―The Book Blogger

“Alyson Noel surpassed all my expectations. Not only is Blue Moon an amazing sequel; it sets the bar for the rest of this series very, very high! When I reached the last page of this one, all I could say was 'wow!'” ―Teens Read Too

“It is the mark of a daring writer to defy expectations and Alyson Noel does that to the power of ten in Blue Moon. I guarantee you will have no idea what's coming in the second book of the series while Alyson Noel surprises you with a big, fat twist and leaves you wanting more, more, more.” ―The Book Chick

“One of the best books I've read this year... With immortal lovers, trustworthy friends, betraying fortune tellers, and freaky identical twins, what more could you ask for? Blue Moon has me begging for Shadowland! I can't wait for the next in the series.” ―The YA Book Blogger

“The YA paranormal genre has a flawless diamond among the gems with Blue Moon. I was moved to tears by a couple of scenes, especially near the end. Ms. Noel doesn't back away from emotion, instead she has the ability to reach into your chest and twist your heart.” ―Night Owl Romance

Blue Moon was incredible. If you thought Evermore was full of suspense and unknowns, just wait until you read Blue Moon. Noel surpassed all expectations...The plot was insane, and I mean that in a good way. Noel took this novel in a direction I was never expecting, resulting in an emotional roller coaster ride that I never wanted to end. It was so cleverly pieced, so intricately meshed, I never saw it coming. Fabulous.” ―The Story Siren

“This heart-pounding sequel to Evermore is a must read!” ―Mind Of A Bibliophile on Blue Moon

Evermore will thrill many teen fantasy-suspense readers, especially fans of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series ... Noël creates a cast of recognizably diverse teens in a realistic high-school setting, along with just the right tension to make Ever's discovery of her own immortality--should she choose it--exciting and credible.” ―Booklist

“When I got a copy of Evermore, I sat down to read it, intending to only read a chapter or two. Instead, I blazed through the first hundred pages before I knew it...and then I didn't want to put the book down. Except I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. So I picked it up the next morning and finished it. Now I can't wait till July for the second book to see what happens next.” ―Blog Critics Magazine

Evermore is a wonderful book that I believe would be a lovely addition to any library . . .Definitely a book that fans of Stephenie Meyer and Melissa Marr should add to their collections. Definitely engaging and will catch your attention the minute you open to the first page!” ―Mind of a Bibliophile

“I loved this book. It really keeps your attention though out the story, because the puzzle gets pieced together bit by bit, but you don't know exactly what happened until the end. The only thing that disappoints me is that the second book won't be published for a while. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.” ―Portsmouth Teen Book Review on Evermore

“This is the first installment of The Immortals series. Ms. Noël pens a well-detailed story that makes it easy for the reader to visualize both the characters and the world around them. Evermore has a familiar theme that attracts readers, but inside this book you'll find that the author has added some unique details that sets it apart.” ―Darque Reviews

Evermore's suspense, eerie mystery, and strange magic were interestingly entertaining...I found Ever to be a character I could really respect...Recommended.” ―The Bookworm

Evermore was a great way to lighten my reading load this winter and provided me with a creative, magical story that I really enjoyed. This is the first in a series for Noël and I think she may have a hit on her hands . . . Evermore has good and evil, likable characters, vivid descriptions and a good story.” ―Planet Books

“I fell into it easily, and loved the world Noël created . . . The fact that Ever had psychic powers was truly interesting. They flowed neatly through the book and I felt Ever's pain. . .trust me, this book was really good. I couldn't put it down. Alyson Noël created an amazing new world, and after this book I am so curious to see where it heads because honestly, I have no idea.” ―Reading Keeps You Sane on Evermore

“Ever is an easy character to like. I really felt for her because of all she lost and what she struggled with daily...Evermore was a really fast, engaging read with some great characters. It is the first in a series, so I'm eager to see if we will learn more about Ever, Damen and friends in the next one...it's sure to be a great read.” ―Ninja Reviews

**SLIGHT SPOILERS**
Just had this downloaded to my Kindle today. Finished it today. Quick read. Dark Flame picks up where the last book in the series left off. It begins with Ever explaining to her best friend Haven, that she is now immortal. Ever basically spends the whole book feuding with Haven about her new found immortality, and about Roman. Haven does not believe that Roman tried to kill her. And of course, Ever is still trying to get Roman to give her the antidote, while trying to fight a binding spell gone wrong which accidently binds her to Roman instead of the reverse. She becomes obsessed with Roman as a result and can't even be in proximity of him without freaking out. Oh, and then there is Jude who learns who he was in his past lives, learns about the immortals, and screws things up in a big way.
I have loved the series so far and was anxiously awaiting this book in the series in hopes of getting some resolution to the whole Damen and Ever "curse". If your expecting a resolution to that particular dilemma in this book, you will be disappointed. I was very hopeful as I was nearing the end of the book as to how it looked like things were going to be resolved, but sadly, it didn't turn out as I expected. It did not care for how things were left between Ever and Haven, or how things were "resolved??" with Roman for that matter. I think having Ever and Damen not be able to be "together" through now the 4th book has drawn it out a little too long. By the time the series draws to an end, will we ever get to see them happy together? Will Ever ever catch a break??? I felt very depressed at the end of the book. Ever lost her best friend in a manner of speaking and was so close to having it all to just have it ripped from her in the end....again. I will still read the next one, but I really hope things end on a happier note.

When I started this series with the first book, I had high hopes. By the time I finished the third book, I felt like hitting my head against the wall over Ever's stupid annoying mistakes. I had hoped to find some resolution in this book, but we get nowhere.

Haven is an immature brat throughout this book and is grating. Ever couldn't do anything right to save her life. She is no closer to breaking the curse for Damon. Zero plot advancement there.

I despise Roman and hated the storyline here with Ever accidentally making the mistake of bonding herself to him (will she EVER learn?)

The pacing throughout this book was off and the story was jumpy.

I think there are two more books to go in this series and I really don't care enough anymore to keep reading for an ending.

If you want a stupid, hopeless heroine who couldn't do anything right and doesn't connect with the hero over multiple books, then these are the books for you. For me, I am done.

The author should have stuck with a trilogy instead of ruining the story for the sake of more books and more money.

I really liked Evermore and Blue Moon in this series but Shadowland and Dark Flame were both a struggle to read. Dark Flame was especially hard. Haven is really gratingly annoying as an immortal and the Roman plot is getting old quickly. There is absolutely NO RESOLUTION at all in this book to the issues between Ever and Damen. Also, the writing in this book made both Ever and Haven vseem extremely whiny. The book on a whole seemed convoluted and rushed compared to Evermore. This book pretty much ruined the series for me...

I have to agree with many other reviewers, the book should have ended with the last book. I have lost interest in the series all together now. I mean come on, talking about beating a dead horse! I probably won't be reading any more books in this series.

I really don't have much else to say that hasn't already been said... Started out loving the characters, now I am just beating my head against the wall after the last two. I completely agree that the only reason there is for having 6 books is so that she can obviously make more money, because lets face it, all the books pretty much have the same theme: Ever has big problem to solve, but too retarded to solve it (I mean how many times is she gonna lie and hide things from Damen before she gets that it only makes things worse????). I honestly don't think she deserves Damen anymore. I don't think I will read the next one, because I bet if I just read the 6th one nothing will have changed and it will pick up right where I left off with the 4th, for that matter the 2nd and 3rd. Very disappointing that the author has obviously chosen money over quality! And one more thing, does Ever even truly love Damen, because this whole series all she talks about is wanting to have sex with him! I mean seriously, there is more to a relationship than sex!!!

I loved this series when it started. The first two books were great. I loved the idea of Immortals. I loved Damen and Ever. But ever since Shadowland...it has been going down hill like a runaway go cart on wheels! Seriously! Who wants to read a book about two characters that cannot touch each other!!?? I thought we would get some resolution...but we got nada. And I really did not like how she ended it with that whole scene with Jude/Roman. I did not buy this one and would only recommend checking them out if you are into boring yourself to death. At this point....I do not think I will be reading the next book.
