Review

Bill Bean crafts an outstanding story, very descriptive and so emotional that it will have you glued from beginning to end. Never have I read a book that is so disturbing in such a way that makes you almost afraid to turn the next page...You MUST read this book! --Sean Forker, Host/Producer, Beyond the Edge Radio

I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book! And when I did, I couldn't wait to get home and start reading. I did not put the book down until the last page was turned. I couldn't. I was living it as I was reading it! Thank you, Mr. Bill Bean for sharing your story with us and giving us the strength, power, and wisdom to overcome such encounters with these paranormal situations. I have been educated now and feel armed with knowledge and information that gives the power back to me. God bless you and your family! --Kat Ames

This is the tragic story of the Bean family, who once lived in a house that had massive paranormal activity. The book is written by William Bean, Jr., who grew up in this house from hell. He relates this horrific tale of demonic presence in a way that tugs at your very heart strings. The story draws you in. The author draws you in. You want more. You want to know that these people got rid of their demons and lived happily ever after. But that's not what happened. Well, not really. Bill obviously has lived to tell his story and has become a true messenger of the light. You'll have to read the book to find out what happened to the other members of his family. A true story of good vs. evil, this story shines light upon all darkness. --Dyan Garris

5.0 out of 5 stars Spellbinding, August 21, 2010

This review is from: Dark Force: The Terrifying and Tragic Story of the Bean Family (Perfect Paperback)
I was first introduced to Bill Bean on the CoasttoCoastAM radio program. The host, George Noory, interviewed Bill and questioned him in detail. The program was spellbinding. Bill spoke with such authority on his experiences. It's his life's mission to educated people of the dark forces that surrounds us and to deliver us from torment. From the interview he told listeners to contact him if they want his help and he'd answer all calls and email. His life and his work are for real.

5.0 out of 5 stars Disturbing, Terrifying, and Tragic, June 22, 2010

This review is from: Dark Force: The Terrifying and Tragic Story of the Bean Family (Perfect Paperback)
I have known Bill Bean for a few years now, have read both his books, and caught his local lectures when I can to show support for my dear friend. To meet Bill, you would never know the horrors his family experienced. He is one of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure to know with one of the biggest hearts. When you read "Dark Force" and then meet him, the first thing you ask yourself is how in the world did this man survive without ending up insane?
"Dark Force" chronicles Bill's life growing up in a home in Glen Burnie, Maryland, that sits in an area known for strange phenomena. (Check out "The Engima of the Wishing Rock" by John D. Romine for more info on the area) The show "A Haunting" did an episode based on his story a couple of years back, but it didn't do it justice. To read this man's account of what he had to go through as a child is heart wrenching. From the details, you can absolutely sense the fear he and his family must have felt for those ten years they resided in the home. The tension and stress within the family is evident throughout, whether he discusses his father's descension into alcoholism or his sister leaving at the young age of 16 to get married just to escape the horrors of the home. The book is disturbing and the entities that shared the Bean home were far from Casper the Friendly Ghost. Regardless of whether or not you believe in the paranormal, just reading about the family dynamic at the time will keep you turning the page.
