A collection of short stories showcasing women from various walks of life, who aren't afraid to live out their desires. On the outside to the average onlooker these women seem like any other sister, mother, wife or cousin; but on the inside they yearn for something more... sexually; and are willing to walk on their wild side to get it.
The women in the stories seem to have the same principles:
Be discreet.
Be willing to take a risk or two.
Do you!!

My favorite story is "The Other Side of Marriage" I loved how Tiffany kept extra groceries in her car lol, she had all her basses covered! The story "When you lay down with dogs..." had potential to be a full length story. With characters like Duante, Debbie and Keisha I could foresee major drama factor here!

Author Jasqulyn did a good job with all the stories, giving just enough background information so the reader knew the "what" behind the actions. The stories are hot and stimulating and were just long enough to prove the point.

Hopefully on the next printing Jasqulyn will fine tune the editing but I would definitely like to read what Jasqulyn brings us next.

All in all a good read. The characters were believable and sounded like people i knew. Yea i would recommend this book to fellow Zane and adult fiction fans. This book reminded me of the old Zane before she starting lending her name to everything. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Dark Indiscretions is a novel about nine different women with nine different stories who do just that...let go. These short erotica stories show the many facets of women who have no problem satisfying there needs and urges. If you can keep a secret, it will be safely kept. Here are two of those stories.

"The Other Side of Marriage" is about a dutiful wife named Tiffany. She cooked, cleaned, and catered to all of the needs of her husband Chris. Tiffany was a pre-law student who was very conservative and had a solid relationship with her husband, Chris. Chris catered to all her needs, mentally, sexually, and physically, but then suddenly it stopped. Tiffany tried everything in her power to bring the spice back in their relationship, but to no avail. Then she meets Taylor, who just so happens to walk into her life at a nightclub. Taylor is the complete opposite from Tiffany. He is a line cook in a restaurant and loves rap music. But one thing that they do have in common is passionate sex. They begin to have an affair, and the multitude of lies, deception, and secrets to keep the plan intact have to be kept. Will Tiffany's marriage survive? Or will Taylor want more to it then there 1 a week session?

"Just Sex Please" is about a spicy Latina named Hope who has needs to be fulfilled. She had a devoted boyfriend but he is useless in the bedroom. While at a nightclub, Hope meets and hooks up with Ronald, an American-born Jamaican. One night of hot passionate sex leads to weekly meetings during lunchtime. Hope has already been warned from her supervisor about her returning late from her lunch break, but she continues to take the risks regardless. No conversation is needed for there weekly encounters because both of them know their purpose. Will Hope continue her weekly excursions and put her job in jeopardy? Or will Hope have a change of heart and reconsider her indiscretions?

Dark Indiscretions is a novel about nine short erotica stories from the women's perspective. Secrets, planning and indiscretions are needed in order to have success. Good girls who have a bad side are revealed in the most intimate settings. I enjoyed the novel, and the storylines were very believable. Thoughts come to mind while reading the book, but then they are spelled out in this novel. I think the book served it purpose in that it gave the perspectives from women in different walks of life, careers, and ethnicities. Dark Indiscretions would also be a good read for men as well. If there is something lacking in your relationship, you need to handle it...or believe me, someone else will.

Erotica can tantalize the senses as one becomes sensually aware of the beauty, power and sometimes the pain of sex. In DARK INDISCRETIONS by Jasqulyn, she has compiled nine short erotic stories to enhance your reading pleasure. The women in the stories explore their sexuality and each situation is different from the other.

Some of the notable stories are "The Last Night", where a couple has broken up, but their sexual chemistry is too much to ignore and as much as the female wants to let go because the guy isn't her taste, she can't deny the sex is unbelievable. "Keep It Moving" was a nice jolt because two friends become lovers while on a road trip. However, my favorite was the final story, "New Beginnings", the characterizations were so real because I can imagine the number of women who have been in the same predicament, but not everyone finds a rebound man who treats you like one should be treated.

The stories in DARK INDISCRETIONS are unique and some are actually well fleshed, in-depth stories. However, my biggest distraction and the biggest flaw were the editorial issues throughout the story. The problems began with the first story and didn't let up even in the end. The benefit of an editor could make this collection truly soar. The stories are sexy and erotic without being too over the top and they all had a story to tell, which this reader appreciated.

I could not put this book down because it was so interesting and the characters were so real. Dark Indiscretions captured my imagination and more. I can relate to some of the characters in the book especially Jill who knows what she wants and went after it. I also grew up in New York and the setting brought back good old days. I can not wait to see what happen next. I will be waiting for the next issue.
