Great take on d20 modern,
By Exydon (New Jersey) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dark Inheritance (d20 Fantasy Roleplaying, Modern Era) (Hardcover)
This review is coming from a veteran rpg'er.This supplement campaign world to Wizards' D20 Modern core rules is great. It gives complete, balanced rules for playing characters that are like their human brothers, but have a genetic link to the gods of the past. Not only are new regular/prestige/advanced classes, new feats, new occupations, new items, etc etc etc given, powers of the titans(the god-gene inheritors) are given for each distinct legacy. What may be best about this book is the complete background history and state of the world and organizations that are competing for control and knowledge of the events that led to the formation of this campaign world. I don't want to give everything away, so you'll have to buy the book to find out more. I HIGHLY recommend this book for anyone that wants to play a campaign in a world abruptly changed by an event that unleashes great powers onto an unsuspecting modern world.

This review is from: Dark Inheritance (d20 Fantasy Roleplaying, Modern Era) (Hardcover)
When I first bought the D20 portion of the D&D series, I was unaware that so much was going to change!
Luckily this book adds some excellent characters along with attributes and scenarios. I would highly recommend this for any collection, it is worth the money. |
