I read this book many, many years ago. and found it enjoyable, suspenseful and hard to put down; the characters are portrayed in interesting fashion; and enjoyed the setting in that part of England--Torbay i think.The romance part was well drawn by author and the relationships well written.

This romance novel begins with a twist (won't give it away) and keeps the reader interested until the end as the heroine faces her past. It's set in post-war England and while not a "bodice-ripper" it still is infused with enough relationship ups and downs to maintain a good storyline.
