Book Description

April 1, 2012
With its seventh issue, Dark Moon Digest is gaining a reputation as one of the best new horror publications to appear in years. What have they been saying about Dark Moon Digest? "A MUST for any fan of horror", "classic spookiness", "impressive collection of work by both new and established writers", "a fun and engaging quarterly", "reminds me of the classic horror I enjoyed as a teen", "you'll devour these stories and be thirsting for more", "truly the best digest, magazine, book of its kind". We agree, of course, but why not check it out for yourself? Stories in this issue include "Hope" (P. G. Harvey ), "The Last Room" (David Dunwoody), "You've Been a Friend" (Frank Stascik), "Nasty Things" (Kevin McClintock), "Skin" (James Dorr), "Best Offer" (Vic Kerry), "Angels Looking Out For Us" (Jay Wilburn), "Commandment Eleven" (Hunter Shea), "Deep With Voices Crying" (Steve Jenkins), "River" (Richard Allden), "Suburban Hell" (Max Booth III), "The Scavengers" (Jeff Beres), "Parts" (Hope Sullivan-McMickle), "Beer vs. Zombies" (Kevin James Breaux), "Reunion" (Lee F. Jordan), "The Boy" (Stan Swanson), "The Better to See You With" (Edward M. Erdelac) and part two of "The Warehouse" (Araminta Star Matthews). It"s time to jump on the hearse, my friends, and come along for the ride.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love McClintock! March 10, 2012
Format:Paperback
In McClintock's story, Nasty Things, I found myself not putting the magazine down! IT's so spooky! This is the horror I love, not the type of thing where a guy runs around with a knife.

5.0 out of 5 stars Harvey's writing...amazing. March 16, 2012
Format:Paperback
"Hope" by Harvey is an apocalyptic sensory masterpiece for me. His storytelling is intriguing and imaginative, not to mention eerie and shocking. I want to see more stories like this!
