5.0 out of 5 stars "Cast off" with Captain Meadows on a third Sea Base adventure! ... EXCITING FROM START TO FINISH!, July 19, 2007
This review is from: Dark Pacific: Final Fathom (Paperback)
Author Captain David E. Meadows has outdone himself in this third book of his DARK PACIFIC series. Wow! I couldn't put it down long enough to sleep.

In this dramatic, exciting episode, Meadows's man-made island of Sea Base defends Taiwan and American and British forces from a Chinese war threat.

Captain Meadows is great at suspense, and the characters are so believable I felt as though I were in the midst of the action. You can't go wrong by "casting off" with this author's heroic characters; even the bad guys will intrigue you.

This a really different kind of sea story, highly recommended by everyone I know ... not only for men but for women and young adults too. Wait until you read about the phenomenal Sea Base; what a wonderful imagination Meadows has!

Also recommended: the first two books in this DARK PACIFIC trilogy and Meadows's other best-selling series: THE SIXTH FLEET and JOINT TASK FORCE.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dark Pacific - Final Fathom, July 21, 2007

This review is from: Dark Pacific: Final Fathom (Paperback)
David E, Meadows has done it again for the final of his 3 book series.
The action never stops and there is enough of Ships,Subs & planes to keep everyone happy.
David is great at what he does best: action on the high seas. Check out his other 2 titles : "The Sixth Fleet" @ "Joint Task Force" as they are just as great and will keep you on the edge of your seat.

2.0 out of 5 stars POOR ENDING, January 26, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Dark Pacific: Final Fathom (Paperback)
The first two books in this series were much better than this one. It seemed as if the author was struggling to find a decent ending to the trilogy. He didn't. The end was too abrupt and left too many questions unanswered. I guess it's a good thing this was the final chapter.
