Dark Rapture was a wonderful read and I didn't want to put it down. Sebastian is a sexy and very appealing vampire. Very much an "Alpha Male". Scarlet has courage and isn't a "simpering female". If you want something with a dark slant to your "usual" romance, I would recommend it. It's contemporary, too, which I much appreciated. A little time travel and a rather interesting twist make it a riveting read. I've read quite a few vampire romances, and this is one of only two that I would give a 9 out of 10. (None ever got a 10 from me so far). Michele Hauf made me care about ALL of her characters, not just the main hero and heroine. Well done, Michele! I want more

I did not like this book at all. Sebastian was immature, selfish, insensitive, and a liar. The time travel came completely out of the blue with no apparent connection or tie in to the story when it happened. Major life changing events occurred to all the characters and yet they continued on their everday life as if nothing had happened. There seemed to be no reason for these two individuals to "fall in love". All in all, I was very disappointed in this book.

I can't believe this book got anything but pathetic reviews.

The book wasn't particularly well written. The author spent more time "telling" her readers things about them, rather than "showing" us in a skillful way. The body of the novel was disjointed and confusing most of the time. She tried to use a vehicle she wasn't talented enough to handle properly.

The hero was completely unsympathetic -- he was selfish, an admitted liar (to his "beloved," no less), cruel, unfaithful, and out of control. I get that from the real world -- most of us want our heroes to be larger than life, embodying honorable qualities. This hero and heroine were more concerned with lust than love.

I am generally a stickler for finishing a book, no matter how inferior I find it to be. This one, however, I had to force myself to finish, much like I force myself to take a foul medicine.

If you cherish a well-written paranormal romance, this book is NOT for you.

I really enjoyed this book. I felt that the characters were well written and the way the book ended came "full-circle." I would highly recommend this book to romance afficianado's. It's GREAT.

The product arrived fairly quickly. The condition of the book itself was superb for a used novel. I have not read it yet but I flipped through it quickly and all pages seem to be intact and unmarked. I am very satisfied with my purchase thank you.

This book is great. I loved the way Michele Hauf made the characters seem real and down to earth. I know the story is fiction, but here wasn't really anything off the wall to make the story seem cheezy. It is one of the better vampire romance that I have read.

This book was a fasinating and suspense filled read. I could not put this book down; there were so many plot turns and twists you never knew what was going to happen next. The author has a wonderful and magical imaginaton. This is one of the best books I have ever read, very much in the style of "Dark Shadows" or Nancy Gideon's vampire series. I hope there will be many sequels. Please write more

I absolutely loved this novel. It has been esquisitely written by an obvious master of the written word. Michele Hauf is one of the most talented women on Earth.

This was a great book! I couldn't put it down! It was full of love and action and about everything you want in a good novel now adays! It was original, and had many twists that you never saw coming. Easy to follow and worth every penny in my opinion!

I really like michelle's style, I loved sebastian, please write more vampire books .where he dosn't want to be human, and she converts her over also. where he's dark and mysterious.I just bought michelle's book; my lady madness.I'm looking forward to reading it.
