This music collection is a must have for fans of the classic television series "Dark Shadows." Robert Cobert ("Winds of War," "War and Remembrance," and others) composed the music for the series as well as two related films. Eighteen selections by Cobert are included in this book which is arranged for piano, with guitar chords and vocal lines where available.

This is one of the most comprehensive music books from a TV series I have ever seen. The arrangements are not only well written, but unlike many songbooks, these arrangements sound as much like the original recorded music as possible.

Bonus sections include a photo gallery, a DS discography, and DS lyrics.

A great book of sheet music of the DS written for Piano &/or Electronic Keyboard, that includes 2 versions of Quentins Theme. A must have for DS fans out there. Well written too. The music is not intended for the novice or beginners of the piano/keyboard, except for the tune Jossett's Music Box which is fairly easy to play!!

I gave the book 5 stars because it is complete in that is contains all the major Dark Shadows themes. However, it is so tightly bound it will not stay open on the music stand. I had to resort to heavy clips to hold the book and then the few pages containing the current selection won't stay open. A real pain for an otherwise good book.
