You know it's a winner when you have folks of all ages roaring with laughter from the next room. I walked in just in time to see Jonothan Frid keeping a deadly serious face stating he had to kill Julia...with a meddlesome fly buzzing onto his forehead! He had to continue the monologue with the fly buzzing to and from his forehead, to his cheek, to his forehead...you get the idea. We had tears streaming down our face laughing so hard!

Another scene has Jonothon saying "she is innocent until proven innocent." You get the idea. And just watch them trying to say "sentamentality." I couldn't believe the other actors keep perfectly straight faces through it all! And the crew members ducking and running for cover has to be seen to be believed, in addition to people bumping their heads on doors and trying to continue on like nothing happened.

Even if you have never seen Dark Shadows, you'll be holding your sides before it's even a quarter of the way through. It's a must have, trust me! (I think I've rated two things in a year as a five star in all the reviews I've done on many sites. This is only the third one!)

I grew up watching Dark Shadows and as a kid I never noticed the Bloopers. When I got this DVD I watched it with my sister who also was a Dark Shadows fan and we laughed our heads off. If you love Dark Shadows or if you just like good bloopers you will love this dvd. My favorite part is where the character Barnabas Collins can't get rid of a fly that is on his nose! Lots of fun and brings back lots of good memories.

This is basically the same stuff you get on the VHS version, but like all
DVDs this has a few extra goodies. It's a "must have" if you're a hard
core Dark Shadows fan. There have been complaints about the format. No
narration, the bloopers are sometimes hard to spot, etc. But I'll say one
thing for this DVD, it delivers what it promises. Bloopers,---lots of
them. Fast, uninterrupted, and without much prompting except an occasional arrow pointing to something. Sometimes you have to go back and look again which is why you need the DVD version. It's less cumbersome than rewinding your VCR repeatedly.
The extras may or may not interest you. The actors appearing on game shows for example. But if you already own the VHS version I think this is a good upgrade for the price.

I enjoyed watching the bloopers most of which were never edited from the episodes!! I special treat was seeing some of the cast on game shows from the 60's. A real treasure to any Dark Shadows fan!!

Best with an icy bottle of Grolsch, sausages, sauerkraut, and mustard. And leaves falling from trees in Autumn's deepening gloom. Enjoy the Bloopers slightly tipsy, like the cameras and the actors' lines, and you'll get the maximum value out of this DVD. The rest disappoints, but for fans of the Gothic Masterpiece, who appreciate the delightful sum of its many parts, this is a must-have.

if you are a dark shadows fan you will enjoy this dvd it has a lot of the great mistakes & blooper that make it fun and realise how hard it was for the crew on dark shadow to do a daily tv show

Lara Parker also takes you on a tour in a segment called DARK SHADOWS IN SALEM.

I highly recommend this to anyone who loves Dark Shadows.Dark Shadows - Bloopers and Treasures The series itself was great and was filmed live which makes it prime for bloopers. For those who never had the priviledge to see the series, this is still a great thing to have because it was live, something you don't see these days. I loved the series and never missed an episode when it played. The characters are endearing, and they handle their bloopers with poise, continuing the scene. A Fan From The Beginning. I'd love for it to be on TV in reruns again. I wouldn't ever miss a show.

i just love the dvd and to see them mess up on the show as it is air is priceless. if i was you buy buy buy buy buy buy.

Most of these bloopers you can find on You Tube. Then there was other stuff just thrown in to fill the space.The guest appearances by Frid on What's My Line was funny though.
