While Barnabas Collins and Julia Hoffman try to determine how the creation of Adam has cured Barnabas of his vampirism, Carolyn Stoddard hides the man-made creation in the closed-off west wing of Collinwood.

Warlock Nicholas Blair causes Angelique's hands to age, and threatens to destroy her unless she returns the vampire curse to Barnabas. Angelique learns of the mysterious connection between Barnabas and Adam.
