New York Times and USA Today best selling author, Heather Graham was born somewhere in Europe and kidnapped by gypsies when she was a small child. She went on to join the Romanian circus as a trapeze artist and lion tamer. When the circus came to South Florida, she stayed, discovering that she preferred to be a shark and gator trainer.

Heather is the child of Scottish and Irish immigrants who met and married in Chicago, and moved to South Florida, where she has spent her life. (She has, at least, been to the Russian circus in Moscow, where she wished she was one of the incredibly talented and coordinated trapeze artists.) She majored in theater arts at the University of South Florida. After a stint of several years in dinner theater, back-up vocals, and bartending, she stayed home after the birth of her third child and began to write. Her first book was with Dell, and since then, she has written over one hundred and fifty novels and novellas including category, suspense, historical romance, vampire fiction, time travel, occult, horror, and Christmas family fare.
She is pleased to have been published in approximately twenty-five languages, and has had over seventy-five million books in print. She has been honored with awards from Walden Books, B. Dalton, Georgia Romance Writers, Affaire de Coeur, Romantic Times, the Lifetime Achievement Award from RWA and more. Heather has also become the proud recipient of the Silver Bullet from Thriller Writers. Heather has had books selected for the Doubleday Book Club and the Literary Guild, and has been quoted, interviewed, or featured in such publications as The Nation, Redbook, Mystery Book Club, People and USA Today and appeared on many newscasts including Today, Entertainment Tonight and local television.

Graham proves she remembers the romance!,

Heather Graham is a writer that seems to do it all. Historicals set in Scotland, Historicals set during the Florida Civil War, Historicals about siblings torn apart during the War Between the States, and hard-edge Contemporary Suspense. So it won't be a surprise to find this is another in her endless line a good reads.Alex McCord is just getting her life back together following a very rough divorce. She is facing a good job in the Florida Keys, and maybe a new romance. Then her ex-hubby arrives. David Denham is ever more handsome and troublesome. David knows something is rotten in paradise, and needs his ex-wife to prove it. While they are trying to stop a killer, they cannot fight the killer attraction between them that still simmers, despite everything that has gone between them in the past. David is drop dead sexy, a really great Alpha hero and Alex is a charmer, too. So many of the writers who came up through series romance in the last twenty years seems to have forgotten their romance fans and their romance roots. I often see fans bemoaning, "where's the romance" in their works. Delightfully, that is NOT the case with Grahams strong sexy, sizzling suspense - the romance is there in spades!

Disappointment - Poor writing,

Heather Graham is one of my favorite authors. I have read most of her books but I was really disappointmented when I read this one.This book did not sound like her at all. Not only the story was not good but sometimes I had a hard time understading what she was talking about. Uses of pronouns instead of nouns made me to read a phrase a couple of times to finally get it. It was a waste of time and I won't recommend this to anyone.

Ms. Graham is a very talented author who has returned to her roots as a serial romance author with her latest effort. As a result she has given us another great read that is short and to the point but has great characterization and a fast moving plot that will have readers turning the pages.The suspense portion of this read is great. You are really left to guessing who the killer is out of a cast of several likely suspects. There are enough red herrings thrown out that you are truly left guessing until the final pages. The chemistry between our main characters is great and the fact that they have a past relationship actually only addes to the the push and pull of their new and growing attraction. This was a first class read by a great author whom I pick up simply because her name graces the cover. I highly recommend this read and really any other titles that she has penned.
