Dark Trower, June 19, 2010
This review is from: Dark Tower [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This is about the biggest piece of crap "supernatural high-rise buildings" movie to ever have landed on a building. A building's architect (Jenny Agutter), lives in some futuristic (at the time it was made) Barcelona super building with a window washer, who is insanely dead, but not enough to help this dead film. It's mysteriously bad.
Dark Tower (1987) fails to come close to original. Again, an evil spirit has found a woman, architect (Jenny Agutter), and its up to Randall, a security consultant (Michael Moriarty) and parapsychologist Max Gold (Theodore Bikel), to battle with the evil force to help Jenny Agutter.
The Dark Tower looked like something Stephen King would do, sort of.
But again Dark Tower does not come close to the greatness of a supernatural film.
If you appreciate the fact that for their time, these 80's movies were not ground breaking but were at the height of the scary "high-rise buildings kill people", you can enjoy it.
The VHS art is much more menacing than the movie actually is and it shows a skull on the window of the skyscraper.
