The story 'The Broken Hand of Venus' is a MASTERPIECE! Mark has a brilliant prose style that never calls attention to itself, and a gift for developing characters rather fully for how short the stories are.

This story, 'Venus' is an extension of the War of the Worlds Martian invasion, and it is a heartbreaking romance, if I've ever read one! Prepare to be moved and be sure to have some tissues on hand. (Though the story is not mawkish in any way)

Recommended reading for any sci-fi or horror fans!

Devour a tasty assortment of stories evoking a plethora of emotions from one's heart.
Mark has an ingenious ability to describe the many nuances of love through his story telling.
It is deliciously wicked, magical, intoxicating and yes, even gruesome!

A treat for all lovers of love!
Enjoy! Mahalo! Kealakekua-Roy * ~ *

I was hoping for a new slant on an old subject and Onspaugh really delivers. Thoroughly enjoyable and eloquently rendered.
