Darkest Day,

This review is from: Darkest Day (Hardcover)
This is the original working of "Seventy Seven Clocks", which was released several years later. There are little differences between the two books. Being a Christopher Fowler fan I wanted both copies - sounds a bit compulsive? So, if you're not a compulsive fan, either title will give you the same pleasure. Love this series of books about the elderly x-files detectives, both the characters are very real and the stories always twist in unexpected ways, with lots of London lore, myth and little-knows facts.

Early Bryant and May book!,
By

This review is from: Darkest Day (Paperback)
This is another pre-series Bryant & May (after Rune). The difference here is that it has a "true" supernatural plot device. It's as fun as any of their other books, and should be a treat for fans of the series.
