5.0 out of 5 stars Only the Best Book Ever
I started out hating cats but one day I saw the first book. I decided to get it. Now, I love cats even though I'm allergic! It was amazing. These books are even better than Harry Potter. I bet with a little time Warriors could be made into $10,000,000.00 movies! The series has touched my mind and heart like no other book. Warriors 6 is the best book yet! Fireheart, I mean...

3.0 out of 5 stars scurge kills tigerstar
i think this is a great book for children 11 and up. It has some death, and Tigerstar, the evil murderer, the leader of Shadow Clan, Is killed very violently by Scurge. If you dont want me to spoil it, dont read the rest.

Scurge has dog teeth attached to his claws, and scratches them against tigerstars belly. tigerstars 9 lives are wasted from loss of blood.

Fireheart, I mean FIRESTAR, is now leader of the thunder clan due to Bluestar's death. Tigerstar is now wanting all of the clans to come together and become the Tigerclan. I love these books because they are full of action. These books are like miracles. I had to put down the book from time to time because I wanted to save some pages for the next day. These are the kind of books that you have to force yourself to put down to so you can go to sleep. I hope Erin Hunter writes more, but I think this is the last one :-(. It is so devestating. Firestar is almost like my heart, I can't live without it. If it was up to me I would make the series up to 10000000000000. So if Erin Hunter is reading this MAKE AT LEAST 2 MORE BOOKS!!!!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars ............................astonishing, October 13, 2004
i have read a lot but this is the best book i have ever read. it is better then harry potter, it struck a raw nerve that made me cry, tremble, and scared. some parts in this book were so intense i thought i would faint on the spot. this is really the best book i have read. hear is what is about. Blustar is dead, giving up her last life to save her clan from the dog pack. with firestar leader now he looks to new responsibitys and new changes and new threats. now with him leader tigerstar now has a even more burning desire to take out his old clan, so he enlist the help of Bloodclan, a ruthless gang of cats with no faith in starclan and kill for the fun of it. he also proclaims that he has a vision that all the clans unite as one and rule the forest forever. windclan and thunderclan refuse the offer and now tigerstar is going to make them. so shadowclan and riverclan unite to make Tigerclan and threaten to destroy windclan and thunderclan if they dont join. they also have the help of bloodclan lead by the most sinister cat you will meat scourge. read what is truely the greatest book in the world. and one more thing i was surfing through the net when i discoverd that the Warriors series is coming back. it will be a brand new series called the new prophecy that will have so far midnight, moonrise, dawn, and starlight. so it seems the warriors are here to stay.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Darkest Hour-Contains Spoilers..., October 5, 2004
A Kid's Review
Firestar thought his troubles were over, but it is far from it. With his trusted new deputy, Whitestorm, he must face a new prophecy:

"Four will become two. Lion and tiger will meet in battle, and blood will rule the forest."

TigerClan faces LionClan, and BloodClan threatens the whole forest. As Firestar watches a defeated enemy die in a heartbeat, he can't help but wonder if his Clan faces the same danger. The death of friends occur, and a surprising exile occurs.

As for Tigerstar's kits, their loyalties lie each in different Clans, and Firestar is proud beyond recognition.

Will Firestar survive this new threat? Find out, read this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars The end of the series, but never the end of the action!, January 1, 2006
A Kid's Review
I have to say, The Darkest Hour may be the in the series. It tells the story of Fireheart becoming the new ThunderClan leader, and with a new name Firestar. He must face the difficult tasks of being the new leader. Fireheart and Cinderpelt travel to Moonstone where Fireheart will recieve his leader name, share dreams with StarClan and his recieve 9 lives. While he is sharing dreams, BlueStar (The old leader of ThunderClan) tells Fireheart of a prophecy,

"Four will become two, Lion and Tiger will meet in battle, and blood will rule all"

And new twists make this story even better. Tigerstar tries to get all clans to join into one big one, and believe me, nobody likes that idea. And, a new clan called BloodClan, a clan of rouge cats tries to kill ALL the clans. Will Firestar lead them to victory? Will all the forest be taken over by rouges?

Any cat lover who's EVER dreamed of wild cats, or loves cats should read this series! It's a great series for ALL ages.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Story, Review by YMP, age 11, July 25, 2006
This book is the last book in the original Warriors series.I am an avid reader and fan of the Warriors series. For those of you who have not read it or are considering purchasing one of the books, it follows the adventure of a house cat (kittypet) named Rusty who abandons his owners (Twolegs) to live a different life in the forest among the four cat Clans, RiverClan, ShadowClan, ThunderClan, and WindClan. He overcomes prejudice about his non-Clan origins and discovers a plot in the forest involving treachery and murder.

I recieved the first 2 books for my birthday, and since then I have checked the books out of the local library whenever possible. I had been looking for the final book in the (original) series for several months, when I saw it on a shelf in the library. I checked it out, expecting it to be an amazing conclusion to an amazing series. Needless to say, I was not disappointed.

This particular book is what happens when two clans, ShadowClan and Riverclan, join together into TigerClan to fight and take over the forest. The other two clans have to band together into LionClan to fight them. TigerClan desperately joins with a clan of rogue cats from outside the forest to help them fight LionClan. Disaster ensues, and the rogues kill a powerful warrior and try and take over all 4 clans by themselves to rule the forest.

This book, and the entire series, had action, mystery, adventure, and fighting. I loved this book because it engenders a feeling that animals have their own secret society and heirarchy.I would recomend this books to anyone who loves adventures and fighting, and kids who have no trouble with 100-200 page books or adults of all ages. --YMP

5.0 out of 5 stars The Darkest Hour, February 6, 2005
A Kid's Review
In the sixth book in the Warriors series, Firestar must lead his Clan through the hardest obstacle they and every cat in the forest have ever had to face. StarClan has told of a terrible prophecy that neither Firestar nor Cinderpelt can understand. Tigerstar's quest for power is never ceasing, bringing him to challenge the ways of the warrior code. Still getting over the shock Firestar being leader, Sandstorm and some of the Clan are a bit edgy when they are around him. Firestar must bring the Clan closer to each other, in the hope that they will not treat him differently as he leads them to fight. Firestar knows what he must do, but he knows that this time, doing what's right will come at a great price-the price of many of his fellow Clanmates' lives. Could what Tigerstar's planning really be the will of StarClan?

This modernized adventure fiction novel is exciting, surprising, and sometimes even a bit startling, with danger lurking around every corner. This series seems so realistic, that sometimes I can almost picture my cat running off to the forest to fight side by side with Firestar and the rest of ThunderClan. Your idea of cats' thoughts will never be the same again after reading these wonderful books! This magnificent book is well-suited for any animal-lover who enjoys the action-packed adventure of today's not-so-average stray cat.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best books EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!, November 14, 2004
A Kid's Review
When I read the first book in the warrior's series I fell instantly in love with it. I was captivated by all aspects of this society of cats, and especially the main character Firestar (who in the begging was house cat named Rusty). In this book he finally becomes the leader of Thunder Clan and goes from Firehart to Firestar. This book is full of twists that I never saw coming. I will be very sad if it was the last book, because its ending left many questions unanswered like the relation ship with Sandstorm and Firestar, and how Bramblepaw turns out. The ending of the book also hinted at a new villain. I wont say more because it will give away some of the book. After reading the six books that are out so far. I was amazed! I never look at my cat the same way. I always wonder if she dreams of forest life and of being a clan cat. I even make up clan names for her. This book also really opens up a whole society with rules, trails, territory wars, and commends. Even there own religion. It's a system in which these cats all fit in. A fabulous book and a thrilling read. I read this last one in one day!!!!! I really hope she writes more of them. I check regularly on the internet. Every one who has ever wondered if there's more to there cat then meets the eye or loves thrilling adventure with hidden twists that will keep you on the edge of your seat then these are the books for you!!!
