I thought The Darkness and the Night: Blood and Coffee was good! This book is excellent! It is inventive, thoughtful provocative, and very, very sexy! Not to be missed!

Okay, after reading the book I totally get the title now. I LOVE IT! This one really added depth to the story left open with the first book. The character progression is really neat and the ties between this storyline and that of the first book took me completely by surprise. All I can say is WOW, great series, VERY different!
