...the very cool song playing during the endtitles of "Darkness Falls" is called "Gunboat" by the group Vixtrola. You can hear an audio stream of it on their website (www.vixtrola.com); I found this info on the Internet Movie Database (www.imdb.com). Hope this helps! :)

Having purchased the soundtrack to Darkness Falls simply to make amends for my missing the movie in theaters, I was hoping at least for a mediocre selection that would satisfy my appetite until the DVD was released... there had to be something in 26 tracks... surprise surprise...I've never heard of Tyler, but now that I have this CD, I'll be paying attention when he pops up in more films. The first track on this CD was enough for me to listen carefully, and the rest is just a thrilling treat for the ears. The variety is just outstanding, with rushes of adrenaline-charged cues flaring up between more thoughtful, somber pieces. There are even playful elements which tickle the fancy for a brief moment before hell breaks loose again... The composer skirts the edges of Horner and Goldsmith, almost colliding with the main title of Hollow Man, but in all this is one CD that's worth a listen...

Killer score,

I have recently bought some of Tyler's other scores. And this one is insane. Huge action scenes, haunting melodies. I see that some people are rating it lower because they were looking for the end credits song that had nothing to do with Brian Tyler who is the composer of this score. Rate the score - not you song search folks. This is one of the great thriller scores.

Cool Music From An Extreemely Scary Movie...,
By Mizzy (Finland, Europe) - See all my reviews

When I first saw the movie I was really stunned and loved the exciting and thrilling score!Well, I wasn't dissapointed!Brian Tyler really gives his best - the music is heartstopping! However, I'm bothered by that fact that I'm madly obsessed with the absolutely cool end-song in the movie, which is played when the end credits roll...Somebody please, please help me and tell what song it is...they sings something like "...I'm waiting..." I really hope that someone would be kind enough to help me with this problem of mine!

"meet the tooth fairy ~ Brian Tyler",
This review is from: Darkness Falls [Original Motion Picture Soundtrack] (Audio CD)
Should we return to "Darkness Falls", a town where white robed specters walk in the dark are very real. "Darkness Falls" has a terrible secret of lynching a woman who befriended two youngsters that disappeared in the 1850s. Director Jonathan Liebesman takes us to a New England town where mysterious forces prevail for Kyle Walsh (Chaney Kley), Caitlin (Emma Caulfield) and Michael (Lee Cormie). The three characters must get to the bottom of why and what has been going on since the trial and death sentence of Matilda who was wrongly accused so long ago. This is where our composer Brian Tyler shines. Tyler who gave us many scores ~ "Six-String Samurai" (1998), "The Settlement" (1999), "Panic" (2000), "Nobody's Baby" (2001) and my favorite "Frailty" (2002) which was the Bill Paxton directorial debut, with an outstanding cast and plot. Now we have Liebesman's film "Darkness Falls", with many loose ends that our composer Brian Tyler must tie together for unforgettable tense moments with a run and hide score. Most of the cues "EYE CONTACT", "WE ARE NOT SAFE IN HERE" and "MEET THE TOOTH FAIRY" will make you jump in your chair. Melodic shrieks from the orchestration tend to become a little too much, but what do you expect from a film that reads "STAY IN THE LIGHT", another cue that will scare then pants off you. So sleep tight and don't let....well you can fill in the rest. Total Time:48:30 on 26 Tracks ~ Varese Records 302-066-449-2 ~ (3/04/2003)

Vixtola's Gunboat is intoxicating, but where to find it? Evidently their album is indefinitely on hold for whatever reason. However...
