I find this book excellent. For Christians, it may still be the must book about freemasonery. I heartely also recommend Hannah's other books (Christian by Degrees, Why shoudn't I be a Freemason). BTW Hannah admitted 10 years after writing this book that he had been present at masonic rites, but he then probably backed up.

One dealing with certain issues,...

One dealing with certain issues, one has unfortunately to be cautious. Hence, Due to reasons I prefer not to mentionout of fear and prudence, I had there the possibility of becoming acquainted with these hidden things. So I can confirm that what the author, Hannah, writes about Freemasonery is accurate. It is possible to know the facts without being freemason, despite of all the measures of secrecy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommended, September 28, 2011
This review is from: Darkness Visible: A Christian Appraisal of Free Masonry (Paperback)
Walter Hannah has revealed key Masonic secrets, including the fact that higher level Masons worship Lucifer and actively work to destroy Christianity. Hannah gives in full the entire Masonic Ritual of the three Craft degrees and of the Royal Arch. He reveals the variations in rituals in America and Europe. With this book Freemasons and the uninitiated are able to find out key secrets withheld from them. Readers also learn why Freemasonry needs secrecy. One key reason is Masonic inner circle leaders fear that if large numbers of people learn that Lucifer is the truth god of Masonry, their secret society would be rapidly wiped off the map in every country it is allowed to operate. The book does an excellent job of explaining how each Masonic oath is an agreement to be bound to Lucifer. Reading this book will help you understand how the New World Order uses Freemasonry as one of the fronts to advance their plans for a one-world government. This review is from: Darkness Visible: A Christian Appraisal of Free Masonry (Paperback)
If you havent actually experienced it, you dont know what its all about. This book though methodical completely misses the point of Freemasonry. It is not a question of compatability. I am a Christian, I believe in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit...I believe that Christ died for my sins and that he is my redeemer. This book totally misses the mark.
