Bad Werewolf movies #1: Darkwolf.,
By
This review is from: Darkwolf [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Darkwolf is a waste of videotape. What could have been a cool movie (it had the female werewolf, nice start) ends right their with too much visuals of a naked man and very little naked ladies (the fake lesbian scene was one tease too many). The CGI was laughable and the storyline with the female werewolf is not explored fully enough. Bad night for
me and it'll be a bad night for you and Bonzo too if you even think about watching this!

The best movie to watch with a group of friends,

This is a very well done, very entertaining werewolf film, with a very original premise. It was a nice surprise to see Alexis Cruz (from Stargate), and especially Tippie Hedren, the star of Hitchcock's "The Birds". I saw it on a friend's home theater, and it sounded absolutely great. I really liked the music for the rooftop scene - which is a scene to watch over and over again... It's the best movie you can watch with a group of friends. I can't wait for a sequel!

I really liked this film and I know werewolfs.,

There is a gritty feel and real style to DarkWolf that far surpasses many others of the same genre. I'm sure the director intended this dark, seedy, underground atmosphere that this film embodies. This may be misinterpreted as just being a function of the smaller budget, but I believe that director Richard Friedman knew what he was up to all along. I gave this werewolf a chance, and I'm glad I did.
