Chuck Norris and Pat Boone, both very strong Christians have recently endorsed this book. Keep in mind that those who make statements that are anti-Christian of this book, here and on other sites, mean that the power of God is working and there are some who are scared. This work is simply an alternative to other books, and while it may not be for everyone, stands on it's own merit through not only its Christian publisher but it's endorsers as well. For first-time author, Don Alexander, it is a testimony to his faith that he wrote a book for older children and gave readers alternatives for childhood imaginations than what is out in the mainstream and popular.

Don ALexander has written a book that comes from his heart and that should serve as an inspiration for children. Darnia's Quest is a compelling Christian alternative to Harry Potter that teaches and inspires children to learn and love God. Darnia's Quest is is well written and poignant, the type of story that you will read again and again. It is ideal for children and the young at heart who seek a spiritual yet entertaining message.

I am so happy to see that author Don Alexander has created a much needed positive role model for today's youth. He has provided them with a book that is filled with words of inspiration. You can never go wrong when you are delivering the Lord's message. Anyone who labels this book with a negative tone has at least read the book and therefore been exposed to the Lord's love filled messages. Congrats to this author for exposing non-believers to His messages! I am eager to see what this author writes next...
