Tools Galore
Drawing Pad has all of the tools you would have in your own art studio. You can choose from crayons, markers, paint brushes, colored pencils, and more all in a wide variety of rich colors. All these are stored in a virtual drawer that runs along the right-hand side of the screen for easy access. (Quick tip: The drawer can be closed to see the full canvas by tapping on the drawer handle. Tap the handle again to open the drawer.)
Once you've selected your tool and color, choose which background paper to use. Your options include realistic textures, vibrant colors, and even under water and moonscape scenes. To draw or paint, trace your finger along the canvas. It's as easy as finger-painting.
Truly Easy to Use
Novice artists and kids will find Drawing Pad easy to use, while professionals will be satisfied with the range of tools and authentic output, from the grainy line of a crayon to the smooth strokes of the various paint brushes. Just choose your style of tool and your color to start creating right away!
Sticker Mania
Drawing Pad also features a fun mix of stickers to add to your art. The stickers run the gamut from planes, trains, and automobiles to lions, tigers, and bears -- as well as funny faces, flowers, sea creatures, and more. Pinch on the screen with two fingers to scale or rotate the stickers, and use the floating sticker toolbar to stamp them on the background, flip them, bring them to the front, lock them into position, or delete them.
Erase Options
If you goof up, tap the pencil eraser icon to erase your work. Select a small-, medium-, or large-size eraser or opt to erase everything and start over. The left and right arrows at the top of the menu bar are undo/redo options that allow you to easily correct any mistakes or go in a different direction with your design.
Save and Share
Once you've completed your work of art, simply tap the USB stick icon with your finger to save it. The app also features an album to conveniently store your artwork. For those artists who like to show off their new creations, in-app options let you share the images using e-mail, Twitter, and Facebook. You can also send the picture to any other app on your device that accepts or uses pictures.

I just got an 8.9 inch Kindle Fire HD for Christmas, along with a twenty five dollar gift card, and with this i decided to buy a drawing app. This app is amazing, when you first create a piece you can select from markers, papers, erasers, pencils, and paints, when you click on these it come up with a long list of colors/ textures. this is very user friendly and my little sister should even be able to use it with a little help. The texture I found on this was amazing, the tints and tones blend perfectly, and before you know it you have a masterpiece! The only problem I found in this app is even though I have the larger Kindle my finger alone isn't enough to give great detail to the art, so far I have only done partially abstract arts, which still look nice. I plan on buying a stylus to solve this problem. This is the best art pad I have ever seen and highly recommend your buying it.

"Drawing Pad" is exactly what a drawing app for the Kindle Fire should be! It is easy to use, works as expected, and even includes fun "stamps" to liven up your drawings. Kids will love this, but it is also practical for drawing diagrams to illustrate ideas like furniture placement in building interiors or design suggestions for labels... the options are almost endless.

This is an excellent drawing application. Both of my kids love to draw, and they love this application. Easy to use "drawer" for switching drawing tools. Easy to email the results on to family members to share the pictures the kids have created.

We've tried out countless doodle apps, and after at least 5 or 6 we've finally found a winner!! This app is beautiful in its simplicity and versatility. It's got stickers, paint brushes (thin and fat...not adjustable size), crayons and coloring pencils every color you can imagine, markers, stickers, many colors of paper, a nice erasing tool, and more. I'm amused by doodling with it and my kids are too. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great doodle app.
