This CD is one of the best I've heard this year. 11 originals out of 12. It's full of Rockabilly, Rhythm & Blues and classic 50's style Country twang hopped up with a driving backbeat. Darrins vocals sound alot like early Roy Orbison or Everly Brothers with a warm vibrato to die for. Theres a great mix of songs on the CD. My favorite is called (Wasting your time) and it is a haunting ballad full of reverb and echo. Darrins guitar work on this CD is phenominal and not overproduced as with most music nowadays and the band is right there with him. I highly recommend this CD if you are a big fan of American Roots Music.
