My son loves the Darwin Awards books, so I ordered this one for his birthday. I was shocked when it arrived because it's only 2.25"x3.25" - not exactly the kind of thing you wrap up for a birthday present. I'm sending it back and getting him a real book!

The price is right, and there are the usual Darwin Award stories but be aware that this is a mini-volume, barely a handful, and I don't think that is made clear enough. I was expecting the normal format, instead got this 4x4 novelty item.

I got this book and the rest because I love the Darwin Award Books. But When I purchased it, I assumed it was a full sized book. It is in fact a very small book with about 180 pages of funny stories. I personally wish it was a regular sized book, but I'll take it as I can get it.

This book is just TOO small! Plus there are several pages of nothing but darwin-related funny quotes but I would have preferred a couple more stories. Also, for these mini-versions I think there should have been a very abbreviated version of the explaination of the Darwin Awards. Still, it's pretty funny...

I was very, very disappointed to receive this microscopically tiny "book". I had bought it for my wife's birthday because she had enjoyed the real, full sized Darwin books of which we have several. This book is way too small. The print is too small. The pages are too small. This rip off is an unreadable absurdity.

THOUGHT this would be a good size for a stocking stuffer for my husband. And while the book makes an excellent stocking stuffer, the size of the book was the problem. I saw the reviews other people had written, saying they couldn't believe how small. Did not know this would be the size of a golf ball!

Boy I sure was surprised when this little miniature book arrived. I love the Darwin books but this is not for those with poor vision or large hands.

OK for what it is. I did not read the product description, so this is my own fault. It is not the same size as the other Darwin books, so I was taken back when I received it.
Has some interesting tidbits. If you are looking for the full interesting stories you find in the regular Darwin books, this is not it.

I too was as shocked as others to discover that this book was a miniature. But, returning to the description on line, I discover that the fine print does give its dimensions and that it is published by a press that specializes in miniatures. My bad for not reading that. So, I'll just keep it. However, I do think that describing the book in the main body of the offer as a "Hard Cover" will mislead most viewers. So be careful and read product descriptions thoroughly. Caveat emptor, as they say.
