Couldn't Stop Reading...,
By Perrymonkey (New York, NY United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Darwin's Orphans (Paperback)
Great title, enjoyable read.It was a Saturday morning and I wanted to start this book before running some errands but I got so caught up in it, I couldn't put it down and spent the good part of the day finishing it! I found the style and pacing very similar to Ian Fleming's 007 James Bond series. It is part political intrique, part suspense, part action and part romance with great characters and a fun plot about a possible political future in the U.S. (Would make a great film...) The author calls his type of fiction "future fiction" in the same genre as "1984" or "Ecotopia". Great read for someone interested in politics, sociology, psychology or even science fiction. It is just over 200 pages and you will find it harder and harder to put down the further you go along. |
