5.0 out of 5 stars My Favorite WTC Recording, August 15, 2001

This review is from: Das Wohltemperierte Klavier (Audio CD)
I am pleased with the wonderful clarity of these readings. I appreciated the fine nuances of Mehmet Okonsar's precise rendering and his authoritative interpretations which come through clearly and joyfully.

Particularly valuable to me were the CD-ROM data sections of the CDs. All 96 pieces of Books I and II are provided in MIDI format so that they can be studied and played on a synthesizer or, better, a modern player piano-a Yamaha Disklavier in my case. I found the notes by Mr. Okonsar about the works interesting, and the collection of Internet links useful.
