This product does not taste like lemonade, unless lemonade has a horrible aftertaste to it.

The Dasani Pink Lemonade drops are ok, but they are too sweet and taste a bit like artificial sweetener.

I really like the Pink Lemonade, Cherry Pomegranate and Pineapple Coconut out of the flavors available.

Desani Pink Lemonade Drops may be “Naturally Flavored With Other Natural Flavors”, what ever that means, but it is definitely not naturally sweetened. Dasani uses Sucralose or “Splenda” to sweeten this product, which leaves an aftertaste that stays with you for hours after consuming the flavored water. It also contains several other chemical preservatives as listed in the product photo - Acesulfame Potassium, Sucrose Acetate Isobutyrate, Medium Chain Triglycerides, Potassium Benzoate and Potassium Sorbate (to protect taste) as well as artificial coloring, so this product may not be appropriate for health conscious individuals.

The flavor isn’t bad, I guess it is similar to Country Time or Crystal Light, and you can vary the strength based on the amount you squirt into the water. I really don’t mind the taste of the product; just the lingering aftertaste that lasts for hours after the water is consumed. I think I will pass on Desani Drops.

I received this for free for review from Review via Amazon's Vine Program. I have no alliance to Dasini (Coca-Cola), other than feeling that their bottled water product is the best tasting "lower cost" bottled water I have found on the shelves.

This is the first time I have used one of these flavor additive bottles. I always thought they were a bit too pricey, especially since I was a bit skeptical of their claim of "32 Servings" (what if it really resulted in only 16 servings... that would be over .20 per serving!)

So, I was happy to have scored this for free, so I could give it a try.

When it came it, like another reviewer here, I noticed that it is impossible to dispense it in "Drops". I guess that is just a marketing rhyming thing for their name... turns out that is no big deal.

I couldn't figure out how much to use in 16oz, so I did some "scientific" experimentation for the benefit of having something useful to share with you for this review: here is what I came up with:

Each of the designated 32 Servings equal an approximate two-second stream of moderate squeeze force (it took me four cycles of emptying and refilling the bottle to figure that one out for you!)

Each one of those servings is 8oz with water, so 16oz would be a four second stream, 12oz would be a three second stream, etc (1 second per four ounces, got it? You'd think they would have done us the favor of suggesting that mix method, rather than just suggesting we use 1/3 tsp... honestly, who wants to break out a 1/3tsp from the drawer and have to rinse it off every time they make a drink, especially if you are on the run?

My wife is diabetic, so we do a lot of these low-sugar or sugar free flavor enhancers with water rather than soda or juice. Having tried them from a pretty big range of brands – Lipton, Crystal Light, Mio and so on - I can say that Dasani's is probably my least favorite on the flavor front.

The pink lemonade flavor definitely has much more of a noticeably “artificial” taste than the other brands, and it has a slight sour and bitter aftertaste. If you really dig pink lemonade this may be worth trying, but honestly there are much better options out there for jazzing up a glass of water or taking a water bottle on the go.

I'm the world's pickiest eater. I'm now in my 30's, and I kicked my soda habit about a year ago, and switched to tea. The caffeine was jacking up my blood pressure, so my doctor has been on me about drinking more water. I hate the taste of water, because it has no taste. I found these at Target, and thought what the heck, I'll try it. I am totally hooked on them. I keep several at home, at least one at the office, one in my briefcase. I take them everywhere. I am SO excited to find something that doesn't have sugar and doesn't have aspartame or anything else that's going to damage my body. Job well done, Dasani. They taste great, don't have that nasty bitter aftertaste, and give you the perfect balance of sweetness.

Like everyone else is saying, don't buy them from this seller, seriously $16.50 / 3?? I paid $4.23 at a gas station for them and thought that was high, even Target is cheaper than that. You're getting ripped off especially with shipping.

I'll be upfront and admit that I dislike artificial sweeteners and avoid them whenever possible.

Dasani Drops has not changed that attitude.

This does not taste anything like lemonade, it has a tartness to it but it's not lemony by any stretch of the imagination. Whatever else it is flavored with is overpowered by the artificial sweeteners Sucralose and Acesulfame Potassium (the chemical names of Splenda and Sweet One). The aftertaste is strong and lingers well over an hour. If you're used to that taste, you may not mind it, but I find it unpleasant .

I would have liked to have had some guideline as to how much to use. Saying "add to taste" isn't helpful. Trying a squirt at a time (no drops despite the name), tasting and repeating is a drag, you may find a decent concentration by the end of the glass, but you can't replicate it. I want a drink, not a science experiment.

I suppose if you can tolerate the artificial sweetener aftertaste and have water that's foul tasting, I could hesitantly recommend Dasani Drops, but otherwise, I suggest giving this a pass.
