I'm a health nut and collect recipe books like you wouldn't believe it. The dash diet is one of the more interesting diets out there, and this book is packed with recipes and some information about the diet that is quick and to the point. This is good, because I prefer books with less filler material and more goodies, so it doesn't waste my time.

Being the second reviewer here, I noticed that the first one is a 2 star review. I would like to point out that the individual who posted it is smearing this book on purpose. They are complaining that this book is not so much about the dash diet and more of a recipe book. I can only shrug at such a statement, since this is what it says in the title of the book itself! They didn't read it and only want to drag down the rating, so beware.

I'm obsessed with my body and I've always tried to be in shape and have a healthy body. I've read plenty of books and tried many diets in my life, but this book "Dash Diet Recipes" has surprised me. I had never heard of the Dash Diet until i read this book. This amazing book is filled with different recipes and some information about the diet that is quick and to the point. I like the idea of quick, easy and healthy food around my life. Thanks Kevin. I highly recommend!

This book is full of great recipes that are low in fat and sodium. I really enjoyed the variety of recipes and the attention to detail. Some of my favorite recipes were the whole-grain banana loaf, sausage and potatoes on skillet, and the pork chops and mushroom sauce. If you are looking for delicious recipes that are healthy for you, I would definitely recommend this book.

I have only recently learnt about the Dash diet and wanting some food inspiration grabbed this book…. I am glad I did! This book makes the Dash diet seem so easy since all of the recipes are easy to make and sound delicious! I have only made a couple so far, Pasta Primavera being my favorite, but I can’t wait to see what else this book has to offer my taste buds!

A good recipe book for eating healthier and preventing heart disease and/or hypertension. There are many good recipes to try that are quick and easy to prepare. As healthy snacks are always an issue in my house, the favorites are the Heart-Friendly Oatmeal Cookies and the Rainbow Popsicles.

The "Dietary Approaches to Stop hypertension" has definitely been helping me to feel better! I'm feeling less bloated after eating and have tons of energy. Most of all I love the recipes in this book! (The Turkey Chowder is so delicious!) Highly recommend this book.

My grandfather just found out that he has hypertension. I help taking care of him so I looked up on what to do about it like what food to eat and I found this book. I'm so glad I bought this book because there's a lot of great information on what food to eat when you have hypertension.

I never really heard about DASH diet until I read this book. I've learned that decreasing the amount of sodium and unhealthy fats in your diet is very important because they're the main reasons for hypertensive disorders and weight gain. There are also recipes that you can follow. I've tried the 'Whole Wheat and Oat Pancakes' and it was very delicious. I felt very satisfied without feeling guilty. I'm also going to try the 'Pork Chops in Mushroom Sauce' it sounds good, I'm gonna have it for dinner today. So yes, I highly recommend this book to everyone, even if you don't have hypertension DASH diet is very healthy to follow.

I must admit, I never heard of Dash Diet, until I read this book.
This is a very essential book for anyone who is keen in keeping a healthy heart.
The book contains valuable information on DASH Diet. Though this book is intended for beginners, yet after reading the book the reader will have a good understanding of what a DASH Diet is, and not only that, but also on how to implement it! This in my opinion is the best part of the book. The 39 Recipes are well organized and detailed, making it easy to implement. The writing style is good and easy to understand.
