Every once and a while I have the pleasure of taking this book down from my shelf. The mix of beauty and despair is all wrapped up in a non-descript case. A MUST-HAVE for any collector of photography or artist books.

The "art" of Dash Snow does not progress beyond the aesthetic parameters of the average sixth-grader, with the odd intrusion of a sensibility that falls somewhere between
pornography and snuff. The mere fact that this has even been termed art makes it all the more appalling; people have paid tens of thousands of dollars to own works by this petulant wannabe. This collection (which I have seen elsewhere) is childish, boorish, undisciplined, unprincipled - and is an absolute abomination in the eyes of any artist with the slightest sense of discipline and desire to progress.
