5.0 out of 5 stars I want to party with Dash!, January 11, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: A Dash of Temptation: Men to Do (Harlequin Blaze, No 72) (Paperback)
This second book in the Blaze Men To Do! Series is just awesome. Tess and Dash are totally meant for each other. He's hot and sexy and she's his perfect fit. The NYC scene is great fun. And partying in the Hamptons hasn't ever been so hot. Get me one of those swimming pools, will ya?!?! Wow. I LOVE this book! Jo Leigh rocks!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hot, hot, hot! -Very highly recommended, February 28, 2003
This review is from: A Dash of Temptation: Men to Do (Harlequin Blaze, No 72) (Paperback)
Tess Norton needs a date to a society gala where she intends to approach an investor so she might make the move from plant lady to the rich and famous to flower shop owner. When her employer Dash overhears her conversation regarding the event, he offers to be Tess' escort for the evening. Suddenly Tess is thrust into the world of the wealthy and powerful, feeling much like Cinderella. While she shares an extraordinary chemistry with Dash, they agree that anything beyond this one night is simply impossible.

Dash has never known anything but the privileges of wealth, but seeing his world through Tess' eyes removes the jaded feelings. She makes him feel vibrantly alive and leaves him longing for more than the media king image he has created for the family business. When they yield to the sensual pull between them, both Tess and Dash and stunned by the results. But while Tess knows Dash is certainly a man to do, she also knows he cannot be a man to marry.

The second of Men to Do series, A DASH OF TEMPTATION will tempt readers to forget everything else as they loose themselves in this erotic Cinderella story. Rather than ashes, Tess works in dirt, but her sense of humor and lack of pretentiousness provides a refreshing respite for Dash, a man accustomed to starving starlets. Suddenly sex and emotions are impossible to separate, yet Tess simply does not fit Dash's world. The result is a marvelous sensual romance that will make reader's toes curl. A terrific read filled with playfulness and sin; A DASH OF TEMPTATION comes very highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Man to Do....., January 27, 2003

This review is from: A Dash of Temptation: Men to Do (Harlequin Blaze, No 72) (Paperback)
Wow!!! This book is splendid. You will not be able to put it down.

Dash Black, New York City's sexy media king, got more than he bargained for when propositioning Tess Norton, the plant lady from Tulip, Texas. She has already been through 4 "men to do" thinking she could change them and is now putting her foot down and settling down to wait for Mr. Ordinary. Determined Dash changes her mind and they have a Cinderella type romance with the exception of the "happily ever after" because they both know and agree from the beginning that Dash can never marry her, his career will not allow it.

This arrangement is smooth sailing for them--until Tess has a "Golden Globe Awards" wake up call (compliments of MTD #4's new girlfriend aka Lacey). Tess decides to cut her losses now and pulls the plug of this behind the scenes fling knowing it's better to do it now than later. While in L.A. with his "platonic celebrity date", Dash was thinking along the same lines as Tess, and though having mixed feelings plans to break it off with her. Well, he was in for a rude awakening when she refused to talk to him or see him when he returned to her matchbox apartment immediately upon his arrival back in the Big Apple.

Oh, did I mention that Dash is determined..... Great love story, pick up a copy, it's definitely a keeper.

4.0 out of 5 stars Really fun read, January 12, 2003

I LOVE the banter between the hero and heroine. I just wanted them to talk to each other all night (of course the other stuff they did was great, too). Ms. Leigh has such a great ear for dialog and making her characters real and appealing. Great read.

Jo Leigh's contribution to the Men To Do series is one of the best books in this line. She knows New York and it shows. This reminds me a lot of Sex And The City. And is Dash ever the bomb! So sexy! Yeah. Get this book. It works in the very best ways. Fun and erotic and definitely romantic!!
