Maybe it's just me, but I'm not used to patterns with diagrams of all types. Many of these are intermediate according to the book. To me, they look very advanced. There's only two patterns, out of 7, that seemed useful to me. These patterns also focus on the smaller dogs from 10" back length to 20" back length. It seems that the complicated patterns would be even harder in such small sizes, but I'm no pro at these things. My other complaint is that knit dog booties are an accident waiting to happen for a dog. They can slip and break a leg or hip, just like we can, with slippery socks on their feet. These are not safe or practical. So this book didn't do much for me. The garments weren't practical and the patterns were not attractive unless I want to dress my dog up as a zebra or a dalmation.
