Recently I rescued a little senior dog from a very bad situation. He did not seem to have alot of strength in his back legs and would at times when trying to go up a couple of steps would fall down on the top stair. I started him on Dasuquin with MSM and within two weeks he has shown a very visible difference in being able to walk farther and his ability to go up stairs is very much improved. I have used this product on my other dogs also and find it to be superior to others that I have tried.

My Doxie had injured her back and thought she
was going to end up having surgery. After
hearing from a number of Doxie owners
who had used this product for their
dogs who had injured their backs,
decided to try this. My Doxie
is, after only a month or so,
as good as new! Would definitely
recommend this product!
There is a web site called I Love Doxies (can't spell it out, sorry!)
on Facebook where many of the Doxie owners used this wonderful product
and ALL were pleased with the results. My Doxie is the love of my
life and I definitely suggest you consider purchasing this product.

Our older Golden Retriever, Xander, had been having a lot of difficulty with his hip. He was becoming an extra "throw rug". We did not want to keep him on prescription pain meds, cause he was out of it constantly. I read the reviews for this product and was skeptical. However, after 3 weeks there has been such an improvement. No, he is not like a puppy again. However, he is playing with tennis balls again, chasing our 10 month old German Shephard around, and running up and down stairs with me (household chores) again! He is still having some issues of getting up from a laying position, but the improvement so far is remarkable. Take it from a major skeptic- this stuff is GOLDEN. You won't be disappointed. If you have a pet that you love and want to see them have relief - this is it!

Our 9 year old Newfoundland started having difficulty going up and down the stairs and would limp around after getting up from lying down on the floor. We took him to our vet and he prescribed Tramadol for his pain and gave us MSM powder to add to his food once a day. He did have some minimal improvement but it just wasn't what he deserved. I spoke with some friends of ours who have an older Newf also and found out that they had been dealing with the same problems with their dog's mobility. They shared some of this product that they had gotten from their vet with us to try. After only 3 days, our Newf was running around like he did when he was two years old! He no longer grunts or whines when he lays down or stands up and he races up and down the stairs. I have cut back on his Tramadol from 125mg per day to just 50 mg per day and I'm beginning to believe that we can probably stop it all together without any problem. I purchased the product through Amazon because my vet said that he didn't have the product for his patients because it was expensive compared to the MSM powder and that the product essentially did the same thing as MSM powder for a lot less money. I beg to differ, but I have seen such a remarkable difference with my dog's ability to get around that I'll pay the [...] extra bucks a month! My dog's happiness is worth 1,000 times that!

I've used this product on my 14 year-old dog for a few years now. I can't really comment on whether or not it helps her aging joints; she's so old and arthritic now, I can only hope the use of this eases some of her joint stiffness. What I do want to report about this product is something I learned about breaking the tabs. When I purchased a bottle recently, I did what I've always done to cut the tabs in half to the correct dosage for my dog--I used a pill cutter. I'm not sure why I have had no problems with this in the past, but this time the pills crumbled to pieces when I cut them. I contacted the manufacturer, and they advised that the correct way to break the pills is NOT with a pill cutter; rather, the pills are easily halved by placing them on a flat surface and with both thumbs on either side of the pill's dividing line, simply press down, and the pill pops evenly into two halves.

When Maggie (11-year old Lab) suddenly developed a hip problem, the doctor gave us pain medication and recommended we try Dasuquin with msm. Maggie was having trouble standing and could barely walk. I figured that Maggie's days were numbered and that I could at least try the Dasuquin and see what happens. She started out on a dose of 2 pills a day for the first 2 weeks, and within just a couple of days she was walking and jumping around like she was 5 years younger! I was amazed. I just figured she would be on pain medication for the rest of her doggie years, but she's doing really well. She now takes one Dasuquin tablet a day and has been taking this for the last 7 months. I'm really happy that she's doing so much better now. Really, I am amazed!

My puppy has an angular limb deformity and these supplements were recommended by our vet to lubricate her joints and hopefully suppress pain. He specified this brand because the combination of ingredients (I believe its the soybean and avocado) make the supplement much more effective than joint supplements that do not. I honestly do not know how effective they are, but I am giving them 4 stars because my puppy eats them willingly; I do not have to wrestle her to the ground and force them down her throat. Of course the Vet stocks these at his office, but it was a MUCH better deal online.
