This software does not work on Windows XP as it was advertised. Having purchased it I have discovered that there are a number of 'patches' and 'fixes' at their website. The tech support is virtually non-existant. I have only received a one sentence reply to my problems in the past 2 weeks since I have received this turkey.

I can't get it to work with XP either...I explained in my original e-mail that I already tried the patch and they sent me an e-mail back saying to try the patch.

It really don't work with XP. You gotta close all your applications, even then it still don't work. Nothing like what was advertised.

This product simply does not work. I've tried to run it on three different computers with only frustration as a result. All the other reviewers are absolutely right! Don't buy it.

Doesn't work with an external USB cd writer. Reboots upon entering the program. This occurs with Win 98 and XP.
No support from DataBecker. Therefore I wouldn't recommend any of their products.

This product does not work well in some functions with Windows 98. Import Song and Speech recording do not launch. Instead a runtime error occurs. The program crashes often in wave editor. Tech support is not helpful. They recommend patches that do not work and then ignore any further email on the subject. It is a very frustrating program to work with.

If you want to buy garbage then you should buy this product.
I have been in the software business since 1966 (38 years )
and this one gets my Garbage Award of the century. I am
embarrased to admit that I am half German (my last name is
Schmitt) since this garbage was produced in Germany. There is
absolutely NO SUPPORT from Data Becker. They will not even
bother to reply to your e-mail.

I am giving this product two stars (one more than any of the other reviewers), only because I had some luck with it while running on my old Windows 98 system. I was able to copy songs from cassette tape to .wav format and do some wav editing with them. But it was slow and tended to crash fairly often. When I installed it on my XP sytem it crashed 100% of the time. Therefore it is not something I use very often, and I would not recommend it to anyone else. I'm sure that there must be better products on the market.
