CD Labelmaker : merely middling,
By Big Jessie (England, United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
This review is from: CD Labelmaker (CD-ROM)
Having managed to install the software eventually (warning to users of systems with already overpacked registries - it can do damage) I thought I'd try it out with a friend's compilation disk. The software is easy to use, although not particularly powerful. It comes with basic templates which are difficult to change too succesfully. The clipart provided is, as usual, awful, though you can import your own artwork. The tools provided don't give you much scope for artistic flair, with some basic text manipulation sadly missing. However, it works on low spec computers, and does it's job well. For basic labels it's really cheap and easy to use, though it's not right for professional designers who want more power and flexibility.

Great for What I Needed!,
By Matt P. Briel (US) - See all my reviews
This review is from: CD Labelmaker (CD-ROM)
I am the member of a club, and we just recently finished our first game. I was responsible for creating the CD labels, and the jewel case labels. I found this software kit to be very helpful and easy. I sat down for about 5 minutes and learned my way around the program, then I got right to work. Working casually for about 15 minutes, the product that this program gave me was exactly what we needed.
