Too shallow from a research point of view,
By Bird Fan (Hong Kong) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Data Broadcasting: Merging Digital Broadcasting with the Internet, Revised Edition (Paperback)
This book contains mostly of introductory content. It provides too much background knowledge but never goes into the core of any technical problems, so the book is definitely too shallow for any serious researcher. Moreover, as it lacks implementation details and case studies, I don't think developers will find it useful, either. Maybe it serves best the executives who want to know what data broadcasting is and for what data broadcasting can be used.
