I purchased this for my mobile and it arrived with just the cable. There was no labels, or CD or covering or anything, just the cable in the mail package. That and the low price made me fear that it was some knock off of an item that wouldn't work, but fortunately, it did.

And as a side note - If you want to transfer photos, videos, audio, etc. to your computer you'll need a memory card for your Propel. I'm not certain if any type will work, but I used a SanDisk MicroSD (since it was shown in my mobile manual).

This product helped me amazingly. I am now able to make my own ring tones and transfer pictures from my phone to my computer. Also I can transfer music to my phone and use it as an mp3 player. Great cable.

Received package a day later than was advertised (-1 star), cd that came with the delivery was broken (-1 star). Cable works as described.

I think there are only a few types of Samsung data cables, so this will likely work on other models, too. All I wanted it for was to charge my Tracfone from a USB wall brick, and this works great. I was afraid of the 1-cent price ($3 shipping), but it turned out fine.

The cable is ok but I don't know about the software they provided. As soon as I installed the software(driver), not only it didn't work but mouse pointer did not work either.

Works fine for moving data to/from the SD card on my Net10(tracphone) T401g Samsung.
Originally I intended to move ring tones to the phone, not knowing that Net10 hacked the Samsung firmware to force you to use airtime to move ring tones to the phone. It seems that they blocked both Bluetooth and USB cable transfers to the phone. Not the fault of the cable and I still move music to the SD card with no problem. But you could also do that with Bluetooth or SD card reader.

Oh well. the cable is cheap, works well and I may get an unhacked phone in the future. The cable also works as another charger (very slow) from my notebook. That's convenient.......

I am perhaps to blame in not having used the "let the buyer beware" rule here. I saw what appeared to be a software cd with this data cable on the illustration and thought it came with it. In essence I ordered something that is of no use to me because I do not have the software to run it. The cable itself does fit the phone. So if that is all you need, go for it. But beware... if you do not have the software already loaded on your computer.. it is of no use at all.

I ordered this item and my order was cancelled with no explanation. Beware if you are depending on receiving from this vendor.
