Generic - not for the Palm Pre,

These cables are bargain priced, but not suited for use with Palm Pre accessories. The product title and description includes the product name "Palm Pre", but they are generic micro-USB cables. They work OK (just like any other micro-USB cable) when connecting the Pre to my computer, but the plugs are just too big to fit in either the Touchstone charger or the Palm car charger. You will need to trim the plastic from both ends to make the plugs thinner so they will fit in the chargers, but there is no guarantee that they will work even if you do that. Don't buy these if you intend to use them with the Palm Touchstone or car chargers.

Clearly more affordable that buying in store for triple the price but it was not a good quality product. The product lasted me about 2 months before the plastic broke off the connection part of the plug exposing the wires and making it unusable.

I purchase this cable for my Palm Pre and it works just fine.
The only thing that I noticed is that it charges at a slower pace than the cable that came with the phone.
