1.0 out of 5 stars I'm going to get my money back !, February 7, 2000
This review is from: Data on GPRS (Ring-bound)
When I received the book "Data on GPRS" from Simon Buckingham, I returned it immediatly. I was looking for a book with technical background information. The book has 250 pages but from these only 40 pages have a technical content. And the information given in these 40 pages you can get also by reading one or two papers in a technical magazine. The rest of the book is more or less an overview of vendors and suppliers, information which everyone can purchase by an internet search. In my opinion the book is not worth the money, I am not sure I want to have it even for free. During the GSM-World Congress I received the same information free of charge on a CD-ROM, developped by a company named INACON(?) and distributed by Artech House Publishers.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not enough technical stuff, June 27, 2000
This review is from: Data on GPRS (Ring-bound)
As a GSM engineer I was hoping for technical information. This book is too much talk about non-technical stuff.

4.0 out of 5 stars More information about this book, November 4, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Data on GPRS (Ring-bound)
I think it is the first book about GPRS. I spent a lot of time to read some ETSI standards then I would like to have, if it is possible, the table of contents and an abstract of this book. Thanks
