that's not a book, January 15, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Data on WAP (Ring-bound)
Data On Wap, actually that's not a book. it's a kind of brochure. the book is 88 page which is badly printed. the first 10 page is an index, the last 5 pages is empty, 6 intermediate pages is a reference to web sites, another 6 intermediate pages is the contact address of the companies working in this field. about 15 pages with not more than 5 lines in the page. you can get the information found on this book from web sites. take my advise and don't try to buy this book.

Reasonable overview, but too expensive, April 13, 2000
This review is from: Data on WAP (Ring-bound)
The Dec 1999 (issue 1.1) edition of this book is not as bad as the Aug edition; if you are buying this book, make sure you get the later one. The book is now a well-written and reasonably accurate overview of the WAP standards and the major players in this space, and I would have given it a higher rating if it weren't for the price.

An excellent REPORT, April 12, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Data on WAP (Ring-bound)
This truly is not a book(it's says so under description) but it's a really useful report onWAP technology. The title says it all: Data on WAP. Fortunately this doesn't include white papers of the technology since everyone can download them. END
