I am a tech for Comcast and I can honestly say, this is the best prep tool available. They used to sell em at Home Depot but have been discontinued for some cheap replacements. Unless u work with speaker or cat5, remove the iiner razors or they will butcher u, me and some colleagues learned the hard way. Great tool. I buy 2 at a time

I had in the past a different brand of stripper. It was functional at stripping co-ax. This is like the Caddie of strippers. Comes preset to perfectly strip RG-6 co-ax proir to installing waterproof connectors. Line the cable up, 3-4 turns of the stripper, remove stripper, remove pieces from co-ax, install connectors. 30 seconds or less. Job done.

I love this tool. I purchased some for work awhile back. After using it, I had to get one for myself.

I was looking for this DataShark in stores and couldn't find. Glad this seller had it online. What's great about this stripper is the spring loaded tension it places on the cable. Makes for a clean and EASY cut. It's important to me, cause I am a cable installer and need to cut CLEAN and FAST multiple times a day. Thanks!!!

It was so easy to use and accurate that I redid several coax connectors in a cramped area just to make sure they were done correctly. Much better and faster any of the work-arounds that I've tried. Directions were non-existant but it was eay to figure out. Results showed in great video/audio quality. Worth it even if you only have a few connections to make.

I bought this since I did the coax wiring in the house. The stripper works great. The spring is strong enough to really clamp down and make the cuts deep and clean. Not much waste with RG6 quad. This is way better than the Eclipse coax stripper I used.

strips RG 59, RG 6, and RG 11 perfectly and fast. it works well on the dreaded RG 6 quad shield as well. these are the fastest strippers and easiest to use. the inner blades I remove because you can really cut your hands with them(almost have done it multiple times) plus i don't need them. the center adjustable blade works well on ground wire, cat3 and cat 5 stripping as well. its my all in one striping tool.this tools is better than Klein, green lee, general electric , ideal,and snap and seal. I have used them all and many different kinds of strippers and this one is the best hands down.

I was skeptical at 1st, but this little tool stripped my RG6 coaxial cable perfectly each time.
Will cut the RG6 cable, but harder because of the cable thickness.
I would highly recommend this little tool!

I bought this originally to strip some RG6 coaxial cable, and it ended up being perfect for stripping the Acoustic Research PR361 Speaker Cable, Flat 16 AWG. I haven't tried using it for RG6 yet, but I'm looks like that will also work perfectly.

this works well with small cables like cat5 and cat6. does not work well with 25 pair. the space to put the cable is to small for the bigger cable. you can use the coax part to cut the 25 pair sleeve but it will always knick wires or even cut off a few of them.

*edit - i upped my review by a star because ive been using this to strip flat 4-wire telephone cables and it works perfectly. just use the blades that come together when you squeeze the handles for stripping any flat cables.
