Some essays are excellent, while others can be quite boring.,

The book has a selection of essays, some of them excellent (like the one by lev manovich) and others quite a bore. But the good ones are worth the price of this book, they are very ingenious, down to earth and also sensitive thoughts on the way modern technology affects our way of life, and our visual culture.
