This review is from: Database and Applications Security: Integrating Information Security and Data Management (Hardcover)
I was forced to use this book for a master's level class. It's frustratingly hard to comprehend because of the author's writing style and feels pedantic at many times.

Although the author is clearly a subject matter expert of some sort the material has to be digestible for students to benefit from it. If you are looking for a beginner's tome that will help you grasp database security concepts you should probably look elsewhere.
