I bought this book with the hope to get deep insights into the workings of MySQL on windows platform, including issues like perfromance tuning on windows platform etc. But the book was a big disappointment. It is a dumbed down version of the MySQL documentation, for users who don't have any prior database experience. If you have already worked with database and want to learn about MySQL, you are better off reading the free online docmentation.
