The book is good but the accompanying CD-ROM doesn't have the required files to run the sample applications.

3.0 out of 5 stars A mish-mash of useful database development information., October 22, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: Database Developer's Guide With Visual Basic 4 (Paperback)
While there can be little doubt that Roger Jennings knows his stuff and has packed the Database Developer's Guide with useful information, the book's overall organization leaves something to be desired. The saving grace here is that users will do with this book what they would do with any developer's handbook, and that is pick and choose on an as-needed basis.
