Junk--not updated for four years, small fixed-sized window
on January 30, 2013
This program is a waste of money. It's clunky to use. For instance, you have to enter in dates manually, including adding in backslashes. This can really slow you down if you have to create a number of entries. Editing is very primitive. Indeed, the whole program is primitive. It's also very annoying to use. Whenever you scroll up or down using the arrow keys, it complains when you reach the beginning or the end. You get an annoying popup accompanied by an error sound at the end as well. Also, if you're trying to make a new entry at the bottom, you'll get this popup if you click anywhere but on the date form field first. You can't even resize the window. If you have a larger screen, the window might be too small to work with (perhaps it was designed for a 800x600 screen). That's kind of annoying, too.
The program hasn't been updated in four years and it shows. Not even its developers think it's worthwhile, apparently having more or less abandoned it.
I bought it, downloaded it, and used it for a short time. It wasn't much better than using a paper-based check book. Then, I went looking for Microsoft Money Sunset Edition, available free, as that program was discontinued. It's four years old as well, but it's a much, much better program that's kind of a breeze to use. Even though it's four years old, it doesn't look and function like a refugee program from the early 1990's.
