I have read about two handfuls of books my entire life.
Dana Dee Plowman
I hope in the end she finds it and I hope there is a follow up so we can learn more about this wonderful journey of love, regret, courage and compassion!
Fred C. Buckley III
Toni does a great job balancing the lighthearted with the insightful, and her stories are prime self-reflection points.

With a mix of a busy work schedule, family functions, social nightlife, etc, It is often very easy to forget the simplest things that make things work in a relationship and I feel this story is something many can relate to who have or are currently very active in their personal, professional and social lives. Although at times it seems commonsense when reading, the author Toni Rae gives us a unique approach on real commitments she has made, what worked, what didn't, and at times you can read the advice as if it were a self-help book giving us tips on essential relationship skills. It doesn't always take an expensive doctor or a therapist to tell us when, where, how, or why we can improve ourselves and make better decisions that can improve our life and our relationships with others. Sometimes all it takes is a couple bucks and a few hours to read a story by a young woman who is adventurous, experienced, willing and brave enough to share with us some very personal events in her life. As a 30-year-old guy, totally opposite the target demographic of this book I found it a fascinating read since more often than not men find themselves outside looking in when it comes to resolving relationship issues with women. Sometimes it’s hard to see what’s not on the surface. Our histories so far are not that different other then the fact that she’s a girl and I’m a guy. I encourage other guys to give this a read, and to appreciate an honest perspective coming from the opposite sex. I applaud her courage and wish her the best of success with this memoir.

I was just talking to one of my friends the week before the book came in on how hard your "twenties" really are. Especially, when you're in a new city, with few friends, and while trying to find the "one." After reading this book, I realized that we all struggle in our twenties, date the one wrong people, and go through so many struggles through life.

Toni Rae's book really helped me stop doing the tango with guys I shouldn't have, and realize that I shouldn't settle just because I'm lonely. The book also taught me that I'm a super fox, and am going places (and if a guy can't see that - he's not the one.)

I am not an avid reader. I have read about two handfuls of books my entire life. Most books usually take me near three months to read. I dated this guy once was so engaging and entertaining that I was able to finish it within six days. I loved this book and I was wanting more. Toni Rae is a talented , smart young woman discovering her journey to find love and takes you along on the ride with her, through the laughs, the heartache and the triumphs in her twenty-something life. This was worth the read. I want more!

This book is definitely worth a read for men or women looking to gain valuable insight into relationships and dating. Toni Rae lets us into her life telling us the story of her former relationships, which often get quite dramatic and it is here that one appreciates what she's gone through to tell us her story. I definitely recommend this book for an entertaining read. It's nice and light, yet informative and much like a lot of books that I'll pick up and fail to finish, this one was done within the week!

Awesome job Toni Rae! I know the intended audience for this piece is of the feminine kind, but this books relates to the hopeless romantic whoever or whatever that may be! I love the way you open up in this book through the good times and bad. I truly feel I can connect with your emotional love roller-coaster and I admire your persistence and positive outlook through the tough times. You are truly blessed and gifted for articulating your feelings at a specific point in time. Loved the book!

I usually have a difficult time actually finishing books, but with "I dated this guy once..." I could not put it down. I finished it in less than 48 hours, which is huge for me. Toni really tells her life story well, and it is a touching memoir of life and love. I'm 37 and I related to many parts of her story, even could relate it to parts of my marriage. Most people will relate to her on some level. It's a must read.

I loved this book. It's a quick and enjoyable read - a rare candid glimpse of another's life.

Toni does a great job balancing the lighthearted with the insightful, and her stories are prime self-reflection points. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for answers in themselves, or to live in someone else's skin for a few days.
