4.0 out of 5 stars Engaging and Hot, November 24, 2011

The first thing that called to me about this story was its delicious cover. I'm not much of a fan of men in uniform but the sexy torso of the fire fighter in the cover piqued my interest. Once I read the blurb I knew I just had to give Dating 911 a try.

I loved the fun idea of The Dating Manifesto. Currently single, I wished I had one of those to help me out and tell me what sort of men I should be spending time with. But what I really loved was the messy situation into which Roxanne, the female protagonist, gets herself into.

With an over compassionate nature I sometimes found her a tad bit annoying and at other times endearing. Jett on the other hand is pure hot masculine arrogance and yet, the fact that he's fighting his inner demons gives him that touch of vulnerability that made him entirely human and a perfect fit for Roxanne.

This author definitely knows how to build sexual tension. From the first moment Jett and Roxanne meet I was already wishing they'd get down and dirty, but Ms. Grieve dragged the moment on and on until I was on the edge of my seat almost begging them to give in... and they finally did. Her control of the tempo in the story is masterful.

Unfortunately, though the ending was happy, the appearance of that ghost in the final chapter was something I found unnecessary and silly. However, the rest of the story with its humorous moments, hot sex and sweet cinnamon sugar scents makes up for that slip.

Overall, Dating 911, has a perfect dose of sweetness, hot tantalizing sex and love to make it a very worthwhile read for any moment.

This is the first time I've read a romance novel. Curiosity and circumstance led me to purchase this particular novel. Wow, it's an incredible book. The author uses to plot to tease the reader which draws you deeper into the book. The characters are very believable and well developed emotionally and physically. Some parts were too hot for reading at work. I'm not sure how it compares to other works in this genre but this one is definitely hot.

Dating 911 was awesome! With tough, sexy hard working men that could literally make you drool. And a sassy, confident woman who was no one's fool, made for an exciting, intense read. Roxanne has the pick of twin brothers. One, a fireman and completely shameless womanizer. The other, a dedicated, doctor who she works along side. Both men, tempting - but only one man has the ability to start a fire in her heart, a fire that she has no hope of putting out!
Dating 911, for me was brilliant

Excellant story. Loved Jett and Roxanne, and Cruz, and I can't wait to see if JJ gets Cruz. It is JJ that he loves, right? Surely she's in love with him. She might have followed Jett around like a lost puppy for years but I'm betting when she "grew up" she crushed on Cruz and it turned to love.

And Ambra and Tracy have to get their stories too. And Seth and was it Carter? I wanna read it again already. Great amount of anticipation, the push and pull was good, the relationship developed on a good strong arc, the love scenes were HOT. Loved the relationship they had with Daisy. Just a great book.

And now it's almost one am my time and I have about $800 K to bill in the next two days, about 120 invoices, so I've got to get to bed. Just didn't want to wait to read this treasure.

Thanks again,

Lisa
