Don't Believe The Hype,
By Thomas the Reader (Buffalo, New York United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dating Insider: SThe Science of Picking up Women Second Edition (Paperback)
I have read a bunch of books on this subject. This one is ok, but relative to the competition, (...) If you subscribe to the free online newsletter called "Dating Insider" or "Seduction Insider" or whatever it's called, you will see a LOT of overlap in this book. Probably enough to make you return it, which is exactly what I plan to do with mine. The editing is horrendous. On page 283, one sentence just trails off, MID-PARAGRAPH, and isn't ever completed. And that's not the only one. For crying out loud, that's the kind of thing you got yelled at for in 2nd or 3rd grade. (...), it seems like they could have edited the thing. Next, the book doesn't flow from chapter to chapter. Instead, it seems to be a bunch of archived articles by different authors, (...) Otherwise,

Excellent book for twenty-somethings,
By Will Perry (Miami, Florida) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dating Insider: SThe Science of Picking up Women Second Edition (Paperback)
I just read one the of the reviews by a 38 year *old* man and he's way off the mark. I've been following Dating Insider for two years and this book is definitely for someone more of my age group, I'm 26. This book has a lot of style and worded in the language of Generation X, much like Maxim magazine -- this isn't a book for clueless baby boomers who can't follow the lingo. The tips and strategies in this book don't work unless you're a person who knows a little bit about women and knows how to look good to begin with. No, if you have a bald head and a pot belly, this book probably won't help you much, except to tell you to lose your pot belly and do something about your receding hairline. That's just to start. The things that Dating Insider teaches are probably out of reach to most people -- but give it a shot! If you want to stop dating 4's and 5's and start dating 8's and 9's, you need to read this book. In the end I'd just say that this book (at least for me) has given me a serious boost and shown exactly how to make it to the top of the cliche 'cool crowd'. If you're 30 or younger this book is golden, something baby boomers would love to throw in a burn pile. Dating Insider is the real life answer to the movie "How to be a Player" with Bill Bellamy. Rent the movie and you'll see where you could be if you understood the game of playing women.
